Following the lead of classic 1960's film directors
Land of Souls by the British / Brazillian duo Herk Harvey
has the look of a Bergman and the feel of
a Cocteau across it's densly spread out foreboding
drone dream landscapes which upon repeated listens
slowly creates a fatalistic angst.

Formed by Carlos Parana (Lingering Last Drops) and Andy N
(DIH / Ocean in a bottle), Herk Harvey's themes
build up slowly over its tracks creating a fatalistic angst
which over repeated listens takes the listeners
into nightmares which sounds like a lost episode
of the twilight zone told with sound placing it in
deep emotions and choking it until any kind of
straightforward meaning is lost and you are left
feeling like you are walking across something previously
undiscovered.
